A WEARY, WONDERFUL WALLOW
"I've been gone for so long I think the devil lost my
name," the 28-year-old Texas troubadour croaks in a
leathery voice on his sophmore album. Fans of politi-
cally charged, whiskey-wounded, heart-piercing,
I-screwed-up, shin-kicking, gotta-keep-searching,
roadhouse-style weaponry shouldn't make that mis-
take. Keep this guy's name and his bang-up guitar-
