To the size and chaos of SXSW, add the rock stars, and what's a poor new band to do? Play and hope for the best. A music writer hoping to find someone new also hopes for the best, and asks for help. Talent buyers for Mississippi Studios, the Doug Fir Lounge and Monqui were all roaming Austin.

Honeyhoney: Fueled by Suzanne Santo (vocals/banjo/violin) and Ben Jaffe (vocals/guitar), "Billy Jack," the band's second album and Lost Highway debut, dances the line between country and rock without ever being too slick to be believable.
